Counselling

Counselling is a co-creative process whereby the client and counsellor work toward goals identified by the client. Sessions are 50 minutes in length, during which time the client and counsellor discuss the issue at hand and identify underlying beliefs and patterns that prevent the client from functioning at an optimal level.

Depending on the purpose of the counselling, clients may:

  • learn to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns
  • regulate their emotions
  • live in the present
  • expand their self-awareness
  • identify and use resources to replenish their energy
  • learn to listen to their innate wisdom
  • deepen the relationship between mind, body and spirit

Clients participate fully in the counselling process and learn the skills to direct their own healing.

"Through an increased understanding of ourselves and through a deeper connection with our innate wisdom, we can work through old patterns and belief systems about ourselves and our world that limit our abilities to fully engage with life."
